Founded on July 16th 1923 the East Geelong Golf Club is situated in the Geelong Botanical Gardens. The course offers a challenge for both the novice and the experienced golfer.
With sweeping views of Corio Bay it is the perfect spot for 9 holes after work in a cart or 18 on the weekend. Memberships are currently available.
The golf course is the home of the East Geelong Golf Club which offers club competitions to its members.
Members competition days are currently Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday whilst the warmer weather will see a Friday & Sunday competition introduced to cater for demand. Competition timesheets open 14 days in advance.
Situated just minutes from Geelong City Centre and 30 minutes from Torquay and the Surfcoast in the Botanical Gardens, the course is open to the public 7 days a week, outside of club competition times.
The Club has a fully operational Golf Shop which is open 7 days a week. The Committees of the club are volunteer run and aim to provide a place where all members and guests feel welcome. The club also has a willing band of volunteers who assist with many tasks.
