Merle Heselwood first joined East Geelong between 1968 and 1972.
Merle loved East Geelong Golf Club and in her time at the club, won
the Club Championships 8 times, as well as numerous board events.
She played pennant for East for many years, with pennant flag

Committee and was Handicapper from 1981- 1986
Merle’s golfing prowess was rewarded with three District
Championships, in 1971, 1975 & 1977. And won Country Teams Day in
